I signed up to play in the FFOC, but, I've never played with an "Option" player (QB, RB, WR, or TE) before, and I need advice on whether a QB or RB is a better option most of the time (Stategy), Then who I should play in that spot, Week 1?

Scoring:
Pass - 4pt TDs, 1pt per 25yrds, -1pt INT

Rush/Rec - 6pt Tds,1pt per 10yrds

All - -1pt per Fum, 6pt Return TD

QB or RB, Best Strategy?

My choices Week 1:
QB - D Anderson vs DAL
QB - J Delhomme @ SD
RB - C Perry @ BAL
RB - L White vs JAX
RB - R Williams vs JETS

Given those options: Anderson or Delhomme. A QB is nice in that even if they "only" throw for 200 yards, that's 8 points in that system... a RB has to have an 80-yard game to match that. I didn't count TDs, because it's far more likely for a QB to throw for multiple TDs than for a RB to run for them.

Most "flex" spots I see are either just RB/WR or else they throw in the TE and make it RB/WR/TE - I've never seen one with a QB option, but I stick mostly to ESPN standard leagues.

that is a tough call... i like the qb idea also, as it seems them on an off day can still put up decent numbers. if you want to gamble, go with willams vs the jets :)

I'd say Anderson. QB's have the advantage usually with that scoring system, and plus Dallas' secondary is busted up.
